Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Software Engineer Innovative Technologies Corporation is currently seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Software Engineer in support of the Air Force (AF) Readiness Analysis and Decision Support program headquartered in the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.
This position provides predictive analysis/assessment of Air Force resource, capability, and capacity readiness as well as the data interdependencies that will optimize and support decision-making efforts and future assessment tools.

o Six (10) years of experience in modeling and simulation; Master's degree or higher in computer science, modeling and simulation, or equivalent field.
o Demonstrated knowledge of software security practices and requirements for deployment within the Air Force information technology enterprise.
o Experience in a range of modeling and simulation tools and statistical analysis techniques; recognizing non-conforming model behaviors, supporting troubleshooting of model structure, and data management concept.
o The ability to test, critique, and employ working models directed by the team lead (senior predictive readiness analyst)o Experience with Government-owned readiness reporting, prediction, and analysis software including testing and troubleshooting core readiness models.
o Experience leading a computer and database/network team.
o Provide technical insights and independently resolve problems/issues with modification of mathematical models, simulation models, heuristics, analytical models, and computer programs to evaluate and predict the ability to support assigned missions for all AF capabilities, service core functions and mission design series.
o Incorporate and assist in maturing impact of AFFORGEN into the predictive readiness model.
o Provide analysis/assessment to enable AF/A3TR to articulate and defend readiness issues at Air Force Corporate Structure (AFCS), Department of Defense (DoD), and Congressional deliberations on current and future year defense plan (FYDP) policy or resourcing discussions that provide the most beneficial range of alternatives to Air Force leadership.
o In conjunction with monthly DRRS-S reporting, conduct monthly current and predictive Air Force readiness analysis/assessment and briefings, updated sooner if required.
Include in deliverables, written report and/or slide briefings, supporting data on all relevant aspects of Air Force readiness.
o Communicate and defend predictive readiness analyses findings, insights, tools, and methodologies during audits from Office of the Secretary of Defense, Air Force Audit Agency, Government Accountability Office, or similar audit organizations which includes scrutiny of PhD-level analyst auditors Defend analysis/assessment conclusions in the context of an austere competitive funding environment during deliberations among Operations Research analytic teams from the Air Force, other services, Joint Staff, OSD, and other Government audit agencieso Provide briefings, conferences, and demonstrations on the readiness analysis and decision support enterprise to other Government readiness stakeholders.
o Predictive readiness analysis/assessments will include but is not limited to:
