Audit Readiness Research Assistant with Security Clearance

Providing audit readiness support and activities, including the execution of audits and remediation of weaknesses within business processes and internal controlsTasks will include:
o Supporting audit remediation activities, including documenting, developing, and updating process documentation (e.
gnarratives and workflow charts), as well as developing and implementing corrective action plans to address findings.
o Conducting, designing, and executing recurring testing, such as testing internal controls.
o Performing and reviewing statement analysis, financial information, reporting results, and financial statement audit report analysisAt a minimum you should have:
o Ability to obtain and maintain a federal SECRET security clearance.
o Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field OR 5
years of relevant work experience, particularly in with the Army Working Capital Fund business process areas.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excelo Demonstrated management skills (i.
eorganization, prioritization, problem-solving, stakeholder communication) You will be highly desirable if you have:
o An active and current SECRET federal security clearance from the DoDo Experience supporting DoD stakeholders and DoD/Army Financial Managemento Experience with the Army Working Capital Fundo Providing assessments and improvements of financial statement auditabilityo Applying pertinent financial accounting standards advisory board (FASAB) policies and federal financial management systems requirementso Performing financial statement audits, audit readiness services or audit remediation and sustainment services within DoD or another Federal Government agency or departmento Experience in internal controls documentation and/or testing Work Type:
