OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST with Security Clearance

Dutieso Develop and defend assessment reports internally to the Office of the Army Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations and Plans).o Serve as representative in liaison with other team members for such purposes as exchanging techniques, technical information/ideas and collaborating on projects.o Communicate findings via clear and concise written and graphic representations appropriate for audiences internal and external to the Army.o Develop linear or multivariate programming models to optimize development projections.o Ensure appropriate statistical tests are performed accurately on data.o Develop mathematical, statistical, and other automated system models for identification and analysis of data.o Identify and evaluate cost and budgetary factors that impact various programs and weighs cost relationships when developing models and alternative solutions.o Analyze and evaluate advanced proposals to satisfy program and mission objectivesRequirements Conditions of Employmento Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.o This is a drug testing designated positionPersonnel are required to sign DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as critical under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program).o Personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.o Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 10% may be required.o Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI ClearanceQualifications Who May Apply:

Degree:
Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in operations research; or a degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statisticsAt least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculusIn addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:

One year of specialized experience which includes:
