Dutieso Plans, integrates, evaluates and executes broad and complex Air Force Security and Policy Review activities, operations and programs to function as the Air Force-level technical authority and spokesperson for areas of assignmentIncumbent is recognized as an Air Force authority in developing, interpreting and applying policy, guidelines and procedures regarding the application of public releaseImplements policy and procedures for the Air Force Security and Policy Review ProgramConducts security and policy reviews, consistent with Executive Orders and DoD Directives, of a wide variety of information proposed for public release.o Implements, monitors and reports on the Air Force Security and Policy Review ProgramExplains official Air Force Security and Policy Review policy and guidance for implementation by all Air Force activities and personnel under all conditionsResearches, develops and maintains channels of communication for the coordination and processing of material submitted for review and clearanceMaintains liaison with DoD and other agencies concerned with security review to determine trends, problems and procedural changes in security directives or procedures, or the effects of new technologies on the security and releasability of information.o Ensures widespread communication of Air Force Security and Policy Review practices, procedures and requirements through a wide variety of media including web pages, briefings at meetings, symposia, conferences, etcDevelops and maintains Security and Policy Review publications and continuity materials to communicate to internal and external audiences about the Security and Policy Review programSubject matter expert in all Security and Policy Review issues and primary conduit of information to installation and MAJCOM-level Security and Policy Review functions.o Represents Air Force Public Affairs on cross-functional Air Force information security advisory groups and panelsCoordinates special projects and initiatives and presents the views of the Air Force Security and Policy Review ProgramParticipates in meetings with key leaders outside the organization to identify trends and changing conditions, to develop new positions, and to strategize and implement plans at all levels about the Air Force's Security and Policy Review ProgramDevelops and facilitates worldwide Security and Policy Review professional development seminars and conferences as requiredRequirements Conditions of Employmento U.SCitizenship Requiredo Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.govo If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF RegulationsIf receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreementMore information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systemsExamples of specialized experience includes a comprehensive and broad range of demonstrated knowledge of public law, DoD concepts, laws, principles, practices, procedures, standards, policies and precedents applicable to administering security and policy review at all organizational levels, with substantial experience in the administration and programming of security and policy review and communication strategies, and in stratifying requirements, strategies and assets to effectively perform the missionFEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligibleOne year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 levelTIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeksNOTE:
